I’m learning that there’s a bit of a difference between using some bigots name on your “steering committee” list and actually making a policy pronouncement on a bigoted wedge issue.
With one, you’re using the name with the hopes of getting some support from that bigot’s supporters. With the other, you must be some kind of stupid to call yourself a Democrat and agree with a bunch of right-wingers on a wedge issue they created and continue to ride against our Party.
I’ll delve deeper into this on November 7th…or maybe mid-December.
