City Election Megapost: Tuesday

November 18, 2009 · Leave a Comment

DosCentavos.net visited Karen Derr at her Monday fundraiser at The Corkscrew on Washington Avenue.  It was a very nice event.  Always good to see, as he calls himself, “Mr. Karen Derr.”  Please support Karen for At-Large #1.

Tuesday was a busy day for me, and DC readers should know that things will be getting busier for me.  It may even affect my blogging on campaigns!  Obviously, with the comprehensive immigration reform debate looming, that is one issue that will turn DC into an action-oriented site.  Of more importance will be to get the word out that we have a pretty good Democratic Primary coming up in March (with the usual run-off), so whomever you support, you better be working to increase turn-out and not just wish for a low turn-out to increase the chance of your candidate winning.

So, here are some links to the blogs of some of my fellow Texas  Progressive Alliance members who are covering the mayoral election.  These are Tuesday’s posts, actually.
