HOUSTON – On Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 10:00a.m at the University of Houston Downtown (1 Main St. Houston, TX 77002) Immigrant Families and Students in the Struggle (FIEL) will host its 2nd Annual “We Have a DREAM Summit” in which students, parents and all community members are invited free of charge to learn about the Development, Relief and Education of Alien Minors Act (DREAM Act).
The summit’s purpose is to be a venue for community leaders, college students, professors, and other DREAM Act supporters to get informed and involved in the passage of this important federal proposal that aims to boost the economic competitiveness and stability of the United States while strengthening their military and its fundamental promise of freedom.
It is time to “support the goal of our graduates having the opportunity to put their education to work on behalf of our state and our nation.” UT President- Bill Powers
FIEL: Immigrant Families and Students in the Struggle is an organization who advocates for just laws for immigrant youth, their families, and access to higher education for all people regardless of immigration status.

Tendremos diferentes talleres relacionados con la problemática que enfrentan los estudiantes indocumentados. Involúcrate en este tema que cambiara tu futuro!
