Tim McGraw Knocks It Out of the Park With No Te Olvides de Amar

I was pleasantly surprised to have Tim McGraw’s Spanish version of his 2016 song Humble and Kind pop up on my FB newsfeed. The song and the video come at a time when folks speaking Spanish, or any other language than English, are coming under attack. So, it’s safe to say that it’s welcomed. I love it!

Oh, and I’m still hoping he runs for Gov of TN one day.

Here’s Tim’s post from FB:

“Humble and Kind (Nunca Te Olvides de Amar)” is a timeless message for our world today. Recording this song in Spanish has been my hope of making it truly universal. It’s one thing to say “universal” and it’s another to put in the effort to bridge the language barrier and try to have a dialogue together through music. I know my Spanish may not be perfect, but I hope that you can feel the sentiment and intention behind the song.

Thanks again to Oprah Winfrey for lending us scenes of Belief from all over the world.
